It is a new day

Not exactly sure how this works, but well I am not sure how a lot of things work but I do them anyways.

A little about myself I guess would be a great start.
I am as my title says....a chefs wife......please hold your thoughts for later, because I will correct those assumptions.
I am also a biologist, and really loves studying the life around me...nature, and I also like cooking...it comes with the territory I think...it really has to.
First off let me get some things corrected here, I usually do when I say my husband is a chef.

::Pretend conversation::
Person: "Oh!!!Your husband is a chef? You must eat very well!!!"

Me: "Not really...restaurants really don't appreciate the chef running out mid-dinner service to cook for their wives."

Person: "Oh, well what about on his days off?"

Me: "Absolutely! But those are sometimes far and few between, and trust me after working 6 days straight and around 60 hours a week, do you really want to "chef" on your day off?"

.....now let me add something here.....this is not to say my husband never cooks for me, indeed he does! And when he does it is something to behold, and he really doesn't mind cooking for me, I will go out on a limb here to say I am his favorite customer and biggest critic.

So who does the cooking??? That would be me....the chef's wife.

But I must say that everything I cook is with him in mind, everything I have pretty much learned is from him..cooking techniques, special sauces, what to buy and when....I love this man so much, that I came out of the vegetarian eating shed just to enjoy his great talent....
